Is it just me, or does the introduction of Squidoo Module Development Kit coincide with the introduction of Squidoo group spam? I maintain a robotics group that used to be configured to allow anyone to join, that is until spam lenses started to be added. I've changed the configuration to force approval for being added to the group, but I'm still getting requests for adding lenses that have nothing to do with robotics.

Are these just ad-revenue-hungry lensmasters, or an automated barrage of Squidoo-spamming-bots on the loose?
